WSSU Amon Booster Club Golf Tournament Slated For October 24 at 8:00 a.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University Amon Booster Club board of directors has announced that the inaugural WSSU Amon Booster Club Golf Tournament will be held on October 24, 2008 at Winston Lake Golf Course with the captain's choice tournament being slated for an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start.

Early registration for the 2008 WSSU Amon Booster Club begins on Friday, August 22 and will continue until October 20 with early registrants eligible for a $20 per person discount.  Cost per player in the early registration period is $80 with team registration also available for $320.

Following the conclusion of the early registration period, which ends on October 20, the cost per player will increase to $100 per player and $400 per team with all proceeds benefitting the WSSU Athletics Operational Fund. 

The 2008 WSSU Amon Booster Club Golf Tournament will take advantage of a "three flight format" that will break the participants down into three skill levels as the captain's choice tournament caters to golfers of all abilities.
