Enad Haddad joins the WSSU Rams baseball coaching staff after a successful amateur coaching career where he spent the previous ten seasons as the general manager of the Greensboro Reds. 

In ten seasons, he has a career coaching record of 229-79-5 including an astonishing 176-22-4 in divisional play.  His Greensboro REDS were the NABA 6-peat champions (2011-2016) and were three times undefeated (2012, 2013, 2015).  In the post-season, his teams held a 37-3 record that includes a current 30-game win streak.  Being no stranger to winning championships, his teams won 9 divisional championships out of 10 seasons.  Enad has coached fifteen players that have have gone on to play professionally.

“I decided to join WSSU baseball because they saw the value in me and I believe that I can help strengthen the program.  I am a believer in team philosophy, vision and leadership.  I like that the program is already successful, but still has a vision for much greater things that I look forward to being a part of, comments Coach Haddad. He has an ability to attract talented players.

Coach Kevin Ritsche is excited about the addition of Enad to his staff as he will assist with player development and coordinate recruiting efforts.  Enad is a proven winner and we like those guys in our program.  He has great character and knows how to build successful programs,” comments Coach Ritsche. 

Enad is also heavily involved with program development for amateur baseball in the piedmont triad.  In 2011, he was appointed as the director of the Greensboro Palomino League and was the founder and acting president of the Greensboro NABA (2011-2016). He also served on the executive board for the Triad MSBL.

During his time as the head coach for the Greensboro Reds, he also was part of the coaching staff at Western Guilford High School in 2016 and in 2014, was a member of the coaching staff at Guilford Technical Community College.

Enad attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chattam, VA, and Western Guilford High School and was offered a offered a baseball scholarship to Campbell University.  He resides in Greensboro, NC with his dog Zade.
