About the AMON Booster Club
The AMON Booster Club serves as the platform for increasing the number of student athlete scholarships and the operational resources necessary for the Division I program. This club will also enhance the visibility of loyal donors and community stake holders of the WSSU Athletic program. Membership starts upon receipt of full payment. Funds will be used for operations and scholarships indicated by sponsorship level.

Investing In Champions
Caring people make investments in the things they consider important. They invest time, talent, and support in what they believe can make a difference for themselves and in the lives of others. For years the WSSU Athletic Department developed a tradition of producing superb student athletes. Since 2003, 80 percent of WSSU's basketball players, 79 percent of football players have graduated on schedule. In 2009, 44 WSSU student athletes were named to the Mid Eastern Athletic Conference Commissioner's All-Academic Team. These are just a few points of pride that are achieved by our student-athletes. This is also why we all must continue to support the Athletic program at WSSU in order for the tradition
to continue.

Methods Of Giving
Cash/Check: All checks should be made payable to the WSSU Foundation. If a member wishes to make a cash donation, they are welcome to bring it to the campus at Blair Hall, 3rd Floor, Donor Services. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Credit Card
The Amon Booster Club currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. It is important to list the name of the cardholder and the expiration date on the pledge card.

Matching Gifts
More than 1,000 companies provide employees with a matching gift benefit. IRS tax regulations stipulate that only the tax deductible portion of the contribution is able to be matched. A company match still adds value to your gift and opportunity for the student athletes at WSSU.

Gifts In-Kind/Trade
Gifts to the WSSU Athletics in the form of contributions of products, services and merchandise may be credited toward the Amon Booster Club membership based on fair market value. Trades on accepted on limited basis and has to be approved by the Director of Athletics
.
Other Ways to Give
Gifts to WSSU Athletics come in many forms. Some of these may include real estate or personal property as well as planned gifts such as bequest, trust annuities and gifts of securities. Please consult your financial advisor to assist you with your planning.
