Personal:Olivia Dukes joined the Winston-Salem State University Athletics training staff in the summer of 2007. With an impressive resume and a strong sports medicine knowledge, she is a welcome addition to the WSSU Athletic Training staff. Prior to joining the Winston-Salem State athletic training staff, Dukes spent two years a graduate assistant with the University of Central Florida Golden Knights, working primarily with the men's and women's tennis programs at UCF as well as the varsity crew. In addition to her primary duties, she also worked with various intramural and sport club teams. Dukes began her professional career as an intern at Portland State University as an athletic trainer with the Vikings football program. She went on to serve as the head athletic trainer at Hallandale High School in Hallandale, Florida. She is a native of White Cloud, Michigan and is a 2002 graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's of Education degree in Exercise Science. She went on to earn a Master's of Science degree in Health Service from the University of Central Florida in 2007.
