Personal:Johnny Haynes is honored for his outstanding achievements as a wrestler at Winston-Salem State University. He was an All-CIAA selection in 1983. He was an NCAA Division II All-American in 1983 in the 158-pound weight class. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from Winston-Salem State University in 1983.
