The 2009-10 academic year will be Sarah's third year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the WSSU Sports Medicine Department. A native of Denver, CO she graduated with her bachelor's degree in kinesiology and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002.

In May 2005 Sarah graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with her master's degree in athletic training. Before beginning as an intern assistant athletic trainer with the football program at the University of Arkansas, she served as a preseason athletic training intern for the 2005 Superbowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sarah is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She enjoys running and watching football and track and field in her free time.
