Ryann joined the Winston-Salem State University Athletics staff in the fall of 2018 and is a welcomed addition. She has a wealth of experience and numerous certifications that have prepared her to provide for the welfare and safety of WSSU student-athletes.
She comes to Winston-Salem State after a storied career in the field of sports medicine. She comes to Winston-Salem State after two years at nearby Guilford College. She began her career Ferrum College where she spent a year.
Fowler also gained valuable experience as a graduate assistant. She served various rotations at UNC Greensboro. She also gained some valuable knowledge when she participated in the United State Army Special Operations Command Intern during the summer of 2016. She also served as the head undergraduate athletic training student at her alma mater Virginia Tech.
She holds a number of certifications, including being BOC certified since 2016, CPR certified, and she holds a Postural Restoration Level 1 Certification.
She holds a Master’s of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History. She is married to Nicole Regna.
