2012JUNIOR SEASON:  Brandon patrolled the outfield for all but 3 of the Rams’ games last spring……..Brandon’s ability to track down balls that many centerfielders would not get to give the pitching staff a boost at times……..Brandon had some of the best power numbers on the team as he finished second on the team in home runs with 9……..in 53 games played, “Harry” batted .333 including 69 hits, 13 doubles, 1 triple, 9 home runs, 44 RBI, 20 walks and stole 9 bases……..earned first team All-CIAA conference honors as a centerfielder.   2012 HIGHLIGHTS: Connected on his first home run of the season against Claflin on 2/7/12 driving in 2 runs and scoring a run……..was 2-5 with an RBI and 2 runs scored against nationally ranked Millersville on 2/12/12……..was 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, a walk, and a run scored against Brevard on 2/14/12……..on 2/25/12 in a win against PSAC member East Stroudsburg, Brandon went 2-4 with a home run, 2 RBI, and run scored……..in a walk-off win against East Stroudsburg on 2/26/12, he collected an RBI, walk and a run scored……..was 3-3 with a double and 2 RBI in the Rams opening CIAA conference game against Chowan on 3/4/12……..was 2-5 with a home run, double, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored in game 3 against Chowan on 3/5/12……..collected 4 hits, including a double, against West Liberty on 3/15/12……..hit a HR and collected an RBI against St. Augustines at BB&T Ballpark on 3/17/12……..was 3-6 on 4/1/12 in game 3 against Elizabeth City collecting a home run, double, 3 runs scored and 5 RBI……..was 4-5 with 3 RBI, a double, triple, and a run scored against Lenoir-Rhyne on 4/10/12……..was 3-4 with a double and a run scored in the Rams’ CIAA conference regular season clinching victory against Lincoln on 4/14/12……..collected a home run, an RBI, and a run scored in a 2-4 performance against St. Augustines in the Rams opening round CIAA tournament victory on 4/19/12……..had a double, an RBI, and a run scored in the Rams first every NCAA Regional victory against Shepherd on 5/19/12.

 

2011SOPHOMORE SEASON (Surry Community College):  hit .348 with 52 hits, 38 runs scored, 14 doubles, 2 home runs, 25 RBI and 15 stolen bases at Surry Community College (NC)……..earned Player of the Year honors and was a member of the All-Region X team.

 

2010FRESHMAN SEASON (Surry Community College):  had 7 home runs, 15 RBI and 7 stolen bases after missing the first month of season with a broken wrist. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL:  lettered 3 years in baseball and 1 year in basketball……..head baseball coach was John Fowler……..earned All-Conference and All-County honors twice……..while at Glenn High School, former Ram’s catcher Michael Robbins was one of his high school coaches……..hit .446 for Kernersville Legion (went to national finals in Washington) where he led his team with 91 hits in 204 at-bats, 71 runs, 15 doubles, 2 triples and 18 home runs.

 

PERSONAL:  Business Administration major……..born 1/15/91…..career goal after college is to run his own BMW car dealership and give free lessons on safe and defensive driving to teens……..favorite thing about the WSSU program is the sense of  “family” and the dedication to winning.

 

COACH RITSCHE ON HARRISON:  Brandon had an impressive year offensively for us in 2012.  He’s still learning how to use all fields and has shown improvement this fall.  He’s a .400 hitter waiting to happen once he figures out how to use right field.  Defensively, he’s been a huge asset to our outfield and we expect him to do the same in 2013 as well as become a bigger threat on the basepaths.”
