COACH RITSCHE ON MARTIN:  Paco started in 55 of the Rams 56 games last spring and would have started every one of them if it had not been for a broken nose he suffered in practice late in the year.   Fortunately, Paco was able to recover quickly and have a standout season offensively for the Rams in 2012.  He had an immediate impact on our team as a junior college transfer and was one of our top clutch performers all year long.  As our “2-hole” hitter he led the team in doubles, runs scored, sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flys while hitting over .400.  He continues to develop into one of the best all-around middle infielders in division II.”
