COACH RITSCHE ON WELLS:  “Scott provided quality innings both out of the bullpen in long relief roles and as a starter. Scott was once again a big factor in our playoff success in 2013, earning a save in the CIAA tournament, and tossing 8.1 innings in a regional matchup against eventual Atlantic Region champion Shippensburg. Scott has the ability to command his fastball as good as anyone in the country which can be very frustrating on opposing hitters. He has improved his secondary pitches as well over the off-season to his repertoire. Wells is a leader by example with his ability to repeat his sound mechanics consistently and allow very few free bases.”
