2012-13: Did not compete for the Rams.
2011-12: William continued his career with a solid sophomore effort…He gave the team several quality minutes in reserve…He played in 25 games with no starts…He finished the season averaging 1.1 points per game and 0.5 rebounds per game…His best effort game at Wingate where he scored a career-high eight points…He also added a career-high three assists in the game.
2010-11: William had a solid freshman season that saw him provide the team with some quality minutes as a reserve for the Rams…He saw time in 11 games with no starts…For the season, he averaged 0.5 points and 0.1 rebounds per game…He capped a big win for the Rams with a late three-pointer against Elizabeth City State…He also added a score at Johnson C. Smith.
Personal: William joined the Rams basketball program in the fall of 2010 where he was a talented member of a strong class of newcomers to the team…He is a 2010 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School where he earned numerous honors…He was a four-time all-conference honoree and earned All-Triad honors three times…He also earned All-County honors three times and was named to the All-Northwest team twice…He was also named the Frank Spencer MVP…He is a Physical Therapy major and the son of William and Brenda Peay.
