WINSTON-SALEM, NC – With the 2018-19 basketball season heading towards us, fans of Winston-Salem State University can get their tickets now and prepare for an exciting season of Rams basketball. Rams basketball fans will have more than enough excitement during this thrilling upcoming season.
With both individual and season tickets available, fans will have every opportunity to be a part of the thrilling action at the C.E. Gaines Center. Season tickets that include all 11 men's basketball home games and all 14 home women's games. Season tickets for Rams men's and women's basketball are $80. In addition to season ticket packages, game-by-game tickets are also available. Tickets for single games are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Doubleheader games are $15 for general admission, including tickets for the 3rd Annual Red & White Classic women's basketball games. Doubleheader game tickets for college students with ID are $10 with $5 tickets for children ages, 5-12. Children ages 0-4 are free.
Season ticket holders will get a chance In addition to a full slate of Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) men's and women's basketball games, the Rams men will host the Morris College Hornets to open home court on Tuesday, November 20th before hosting the local rival Piedmont International Bruins on Wednesday, November 28th. The Rams women's team will open home court on Sunday, November 18th when the team hosts the Johnson & Wales (N.C.) Wildcats, Sunday, November 18th before hosting the West Liberty State Hilltoppers on Wednesday, November 21st. The Rams women's team will close home court for the fall when the team hosts the 3rd Annual Red & White Classic on the weekend of November 30th – December 1st.
The Rams men's and women's team will open CIAA play on Friday, January 4th when the teams open a four-game home stand against new CIAA member Claflin. The teams will then host the Virginia State Trojans (Thursday, January 10th), Chowan (Saturday, January 12th), and Elizabeth City State (Monday, January 14th). The Rams will open CIAA Southern Division play against the Shaw Bears on Wednesday, January 23rd.
February will also see a lot of action for the Rams as the teams look to end the season strong. The teams will host the Livingstone College Blue Bears, Saturday, February 2nd before hosting the Saint Augustine's Falcons, Saturday, February 9th. The Rams will then host the Fayetteville State Broncos on Saturday, February 16th before closing home court on Senior Night taking on the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls, Wednesday, February 20th.
