November 21, 2017 Late Struggles Cost Rams in 83-72 Loss to Catawba WINSTON-SALEM, NC ? The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-4) got off to a good start, but the team struggled late in a hard-fought 83-72 loss to the Catawba Indians (2-2), Tuesday evening. The Rams gave a solid overall effort, but the team could not stop a hot-shooting Catawba that exploded in the second half.
November 18, 2017 Rams Take 78-55 Loss to Fort Valley State at CIAA/SIAC Challenge RALEIGH, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-3) couldn’t seem to get their offense in gear when the team took a 78-55 Loss to the Fort Valley State Wildcats (1-2), Saturday evening in the CIAA/SIAC Challenge. The Rams struggled to find points in the loss as shooting woes plagued the team in the game. 
November 17, 2017 Rams Top Virginia Union to Advance to Semifinal Round of 2017 CIAA Volleyball Championship Tournament PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (20-7) began their quest for the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Championship in impressive fashion as the team took a three-set win over the Virginia Union Panthers (15-11). The Rams rolled to the win behind a great overall effort to claim the 25-16, 25-18, and 25-15 win.
November 17, 2017 Rams Take an 87-72 Loss to Morehouse at CIAA/SIAC Challenge RALEIGH, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-2) gave a solid effort, but the team could not stop the Morehouse Tigers (3-0) in an 87-72 loss in the opening game of the CIAA/SIAC Challenge hosted by Shaw University on the campus of Shaw University. The Rams took the loss behind a solid shooting effort, but the team could not find a way to stop the scorching hot Maroon Tigers.
November 11, 2017 Rams Take an 89-77 Loss to Concord WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-1) could not quite find the answers that they needed in an 89-77 loss to the Concord Mountain Lions (2-0), Saturday evening. After taking an early lead, the Rams faded late and could not get back into the game in a hard-fought loss.
November 10, 2017 Balanced Attack Leads Rams to 111-95 Season Opening Win Over Clarion WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-0) opened the 2017-18 season with a bang when the team took a 111-95 win over the Clarion Golden Eagles (0-1), Friday evening at the C.E. Gaines Center. The Rams took the win behind a balanced offensive attack to break out for the win with five WSSU players reaching double-digit scoring in the game

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
