ATLANTA, GA -Anthony Morrow scored 24 points and Javaris Crittenton had 13 points and nine assists in Georgia Tech's 97-46 victory over Winston-Salem State on Wednesday night.

The Yellow Jackets (11-3), who jumped out to an early 7-0 advantage, never trailed after Morrow hit his first of seven 3-pointers giving Tech a 15-12 lead.

Darius Floyd led Winston-Salem State with 15 points as he turned in a six-of-13 shooting performance from the field. The Rams (1-17) have lost 14 straight games, all of them outside of the State of North Carolina.

Georgia Tech's front line of Jeremis Smith, Ra'Sean Dickey and Mouhammad Faye combined for 30 points and 23 rebounds as they proved to be the difference-maker in what was a close contest in the early-going. Faye, a red-shirt freshman, made his first career start. 

The trio outsized the Rams' front three by nearly five inches and 25 pounds at all three positions as the Yellow Jackets out-boarded Winston-Salem State by 16 rebounds.  The Rams dropped to 0-16 on the season when being out-rebounded by their opponent. 

The Jackets improved to 156-9 against non-conference opponents at Alexander Memorial Coliseum with the victory. After losing its Atlantic Coast Conference opener at Miami last month, Georgia Tech will visit No. 23 Clemson (15-0, 1-0) on Saturday.

Winston-Salem State is playing a Division I schedule for the first season as future members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Rams' lone victory, 67-44 over Anderson, S.C., came in their 2006-07 season home-opener. They visit MEAC conference member Morgan State on Friday night.

The Rams, who have dropped 14 consecutive games look to end their losing skid on Friday as they try to prevent matching a 15-game losing streak that came during the 1995-96 season.
