The win is Winston-Salem State's fourth straight win of 2004-05 after dropping the season opener 55-53 to Lenoir-Rhyne

WSSU improves to 4-1 overall (0-0 CIAA)

The non-conference win improves Philip Stitts' record versus non-CIAA teams to 19-11 all time and improves his overall record to 57-34 overall while at WSSU

The win over North Florida was the first in the all-time series. The Rams now lead the all-time series 1-0 with a rematch coming in Jacksonville, FL on January 2nd, 2005
