Raleigh, NC - With the close of the regular season, the Rams now know who they will face as they look to win four straight games and capture the 2004 CIAA Men's Basketball Championship. The Rams, who finished the regular season with an 16-11 overall record (6-10 CIAA; 3-7 Western Division) have earned the fifth seed in the Western Division and are set to face off against the fourth-seed in the Eastern Division, the Trojans of Virginia State University at 3:oo pm on Wednesday, February 25th, 2004 at the RBC Center in Raleigh, NC in the second game of the first round of the 2004 CIAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.

The Rams and Trojans met only once in the 2003-04 regular season on January 21st, 2004 in a contest held in Petersburg, VA. The Rams fell in defeat to Virginia State in that game by the score of 73-66 in overtime.
