After playing just six games at home last season and facing some of the best competition in the nation, the Winston-Salem State Rams may see the 2007-08 season as an easier road, but a quick glance at the Rams' schedule will likely prove otherwise. After eating on the road for much of last season, the Rams will enjoy a virtual buffet of home cooking this season as they will play 15 games in Winston-Salem (one on the road at Wake Forest University), including playing 12 games on their home court along with three games at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Though the Rams will have enjoyed a wealth of home games for much of the season, the squad will wrap up the season on the road as the team will play seven of its final 11 games of the season on the road.
The Rams will open the final month of the season at home when they host the 2007 MEAC Champion Florida A&M Rattlers and Bethune-Cookman Wildcats to open the season, but will then hit the road for four straight games heading to Baltimore, Maryland to take on the Morgan State Bears and the Coppin State Eagles, followed by a pair of road games against the Howard Bison before Collins returns to Hampton for the first time since leading the Pirates to the 2006 MEAC Tournament Championship and NCAA tournament bid.
