Winston-Salem, NC - Winston-Salem State University men's basketball player Roy Peake has been named the Crown Trophy WSSU Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 11, 2005 for his stellar performance in the Rams' win over Lenoir-Rhyne last week.

Peake, a 5'10", 170-pound sophomore guard from Thomasville, NC turned in an impressive week as he helped the Rams to a win over Lenoir-Rhyne as the Rams pulled back to an even 4-4 on the season. 

The most impressive performance of the week came in that game as he sealed the Rams' win with a deep three pointer with time winding down in overtime. 

For his efforts, Peake has been named the Crown Trophy WSSU Student-Athlete of the Week.
