DAYTONA BEACH, FL – Winston-Salem State University running back Xavier Quick will have a little more work to do before he hangs up his cleats. Quick was selected to compete in the annual FCS Bowl. Presented by SPIRAL/East Preps LLC, the FCS Bowl showcases seniors from around the nation that travel to the game from over 30 states representing over 100 schools.
Quick just completed his career at Winston-Salem State University where he played four years for the Rams and was a member of back-to-back Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championship teams. He finished his career at WSSU with 570 total rushing yards and four touchdowns.
The Fourth Annual FCS Bowl will be played on Saturday, December 10th at 1:00 p.m. Daytona Beach Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida. The FCS Bowl is the elite and only current post-season all-star game scouted by the NFL and players get the opportunity to play in front of numerous National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL) scouts. The game consistently gets 12-15 NFL teams in attendance. However, all 32 NFL teams will receive and review the FCS Bowl Game.
Tickets for the Fourth Annual FCS Bowl will be $20 cash or credit purchase at the gate only. The game will be played at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium at 3917 Lpga Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
