Personal: "Mr. Touchdown" returns for his sophomore season at WSSU and will once again be one of quarterback Josh McGee's favorite targets...Brevard got his "Mr. Touchdown" moniker in 2003 when he caught only nine passes, but four of them for touchdowns...A native of Charlotte, NC he is a 2002 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC where he was a two-time Southwestern 4A All-Conference selection and helped to lead the Eagles to a 13-2 record, a conference championship and a N.C. State semifinals appearance in 2001...The son of Donald and Gayle Brevard...His father, Donald, played basketball at the University of South Carolina...A Political Science major at WSSU...Born in Charlotte, NC on December 2nd, 1983.
2003: Appeared in six games for the Rams, starting two...Was fifth on the team in receiving as he caught nine passes for a total of 174 yards for a team-high average of 19.3 yards per catch and 29.0 yards per game...Four of his nine receptions were touchdowns, earning him the name "Mr. Touchdown"...Helped to convert one two-point PAT...Was sixth on the team in scoring with 26 points (4 touchdowns, 1 two-point conversion)...Turned in his best performance of the season in the final game of 2003 versus Saint Augustine's (November 8th, 2003) when he caught four passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, as well as snaring his longest pass of the year, a 32-yarder...Turned in an impressive series against the Virginia State University Trojans on September 13th, 2003 as he caught one pass for 11 yards for a touchdown and then caught a 7-yard two-point PAT on the very next play, running the exact same route that netted him his TD catch.
