WINSTON-SALEM, NC - National Signing Day has arrived and WSSU Signing Day Central will have the most up-to-date coverage of Winston-Salem State University football's 2006 recruiting class. Return throughout the day for updates as the signings take place as standout high school football players choose to be a member of the tradition that is Ram football.

Head Coach Kermit Blount and the Rams will continue to add talent to the already talent-laden WSSU roster throughout the day as WSSU prepares for the 2006 season, the Rams' first at the Division I-AA level as a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

The Rams, who are making the move from NCAA Division II and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) will have a 2006 schedule that features nine Division I-AA opponents and only two Division II opponents.
