WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University football team will close their spring season at 9:00 am on Saturday morning (March 31) as they take to the field for their final practice of Spring Football 2007. 

The Rams, who have been in action for 14 days will close the season with their 15^th day of practice as they hold their final training session.

WSSU will not have an official spring football game, but will hold a small 40-play intra-squad scrimmage that will allow coaches and players to focus on position-specific situations.

The Rams next action will be when WSSU players return for fall training camp on August 2, 2007 as they prepare for the season's opening game on September 1, 2007 versus North Carolina A&T at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC.
