WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University Department of Athletics has announced that the Rams' annual "Meet the Rams" Football Fan Fest and Media Day activities will be held at Bowman Gray Stadium at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2008.
WSSU's 16th-year head football coach Kermit Blount will lead the Rams as they kickoff the fan-friendly activities of the 2008 WSSU "Meet the Rams" Media Day and Fan Fest in an event that is free and open to the public.
WSSU's "Meet the Rams" Fan Fest is an opportunity for fans from the community and the Winston-Salem State University family to come out and meet the coaches and players from the football team as well as meet the cheerleaders and WSSU "Red Sea of Sound" marching band.
WSSU athletes and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures and will conduct media interviews and appearances.

As well, the event will provide fans' a chance to purchase their custom "Ram Seat Back" chair back seat for the 2008 season. Sunday's festivities will allow fans to reserve their seat for what will prove to be an exciting Division I football season.
