Hampton, VA - Winston-Salem State University receiver Brandon Hussey (Jr./WR-KR/Pine Tops, NC) was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Receiver of the Week for the week ending September 5th, 2004 for his performance in the Rams 21-19 loss to Fort Valley State University this past weekend.

Hussey, a junior wide receiver and kick returner turned in one of the greatest performances of his three-year career at WSSU as he recorded 258 total yards on the evening. Hussey caught 11 passes for 106 yards and added to his offense with 152 yards returning kicks (83 on punt returns; 69 on kick returns) as he was the most productive Ram on the field.

For his efforts he was named the CIAA's Receiver of the Week and is once again showing why he was an All-CIAA First-Team selection in 2003 and a Pre-Season All-CIAA selection in 2004.
