COMPLETE GOLF RESULTS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team finished in 12^th place after posting a 60-over par 348 on Sunday morning in final-round action from the Bethune-Cookman University Spring Golf Invitational in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Florida Gulf Coast University fired a team aggregate total of 281 in Sunday's final round to come from behind and win the 12-team tournament.

The Rams bettered their round-one score by three strokes on Sunday as they posted a 348 following Saturday's 351 as WSSU turned in a two-day total of 699 en route to a 12^th-place finish.

For the second consecutive day Lance Holmes led the Rams with a team-low round of 84 as he posted a two-day total of 163, good enough to place him 49^th in the tournament field.

Steven Mason fired a final-round 86 as he posted a two-day total of 181 en route to a 60^th place individual finish.  Joshua Sherell posted a two-day total of 175 as he placed second on the Rams' roster with a 175 total and a 56^th place finish.

Kenneth Lathan placed 61^st with a total of 182 and Zachary Yelder posted an 88 and a two-day total of 184 as he placed 63^rd overall.

Florida Gulf Coast University overcame Stetson University's four-stroke advantage as they posted a team total 281 in the final round to capture the tournament title by three strokes.  Stetson placed second overall and the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman earned bronze medal honors.

The Rams return to action on Friday, Feb. 29 as they compete in first-round action of the Florida A&M University Classic.
