TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team finished in eighth place following the conclusion of the final round of the Florida A&M Spring Golf Invitational after turning in a team aggregate total of 327 on the par 72, 6998-yard course on Sunday afternoon. Combined with a showing of 332 in Saturday's first round, the Rams finished with a team total of 659 to close out competition with a two-day total of 83 over par. All five WSSU golfers turned in rounds in the 80's on Sunday afternoon as Lance Holmes led the Rams with a team-low round of 80 en route to a 41st-place individual finish.

Holmes was joined by Jerrell Fields who turned in a score of 81 and Joshua Sherrell and Kenneth Lathan who both fired rounds of 83. Closing out the scoring for the Rams was Steven Mason's round of 85.
