Statesville, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams golf team concluded the individual competition portion of the Billy Joe Patton Golf Tournament hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne College at the Statesville Country Club in Statesville, NC in fourth place as windy conditions forced elevated scores on Tuesday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Rams was day one's most impressive performer, Brett Lindquist who shot a final-round 91 to help lead the Rams towards the tournament finish and a fourth-place showing.
Lindquist was not the only Ram on his game as Terrell McLelland shot a 113, bettering his opening round score by nine strokes and Ernest Timmons closed the gap, shooting a 101, only one stroke off his opening-round pace.
