Louisburg, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams turned in a team total of 347 after the second day of competition at the Louisburg College Intercollegiate Golf Challenge on Friday afternoon from the Bull Creek Golf and Country Club in Louisburg, NC.

The Rams, who were golfing in only their second round of the 2005-06 season, were led by Lance Holmes who fired a round of 79 and Brett Lindquist (West Islip, NY) who turned in a round of 83.

Ernest Timmons shot an 89 and William Monk shot a 96 to combine with Lindquist and Holmes to turn in a team-total of 347 at the conclusion of the day's second round.

WSSU returns to action tomorrow at 10:00 am as they tee off in final-round action.
