Louisburg, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams turned in a team total of 348 in final-round competition at the Louisburg College Intercollegiate Golf Challenge on Friday afternoon from the Bull Creek Golf and Country Club in Louisburg, NC en route to a tournament-total of 1052.

The Rams, who were wrapping-up their first match of the 2005-06 season, were led by Lance Holmes who recorded a round of 79 and Brett Lindquist (West Islip, NY) who turned in a team-low round of 78.

Ernest Timmons shot a 100 and William Monk shot a 91 to combine with Lindquist and Holmes to turn in a team-total of 348 at the conclusion of the day's final round.

WSSU returns to action on September 26-27, 2005 as they travel to Greenwood, SC to participate in the Chic Fil-A Atlantic Intercollegiate Golf Challenge at Hunter's Creek Country Club.
