Brett Lindquist Fires A 78; WSSU Finishes Atlantic Intercollegiate Golf Tourney In 13th Place - WINSTON-SALEM STATE OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE

Greenwood, SC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams turned in a team total of 365 in final-round action at the 2005 Chic-Fil-A Atlantic Intercollegiate Golf Challenge on Friday afternoon from Hunter's Creek Golf and Country Club in Greenwood, SC en route to a 13^th place team finish at the conclusion of the golf event.

The Rams, who were wrapping up only their second match of the 2005-06 season, were led by Brett Lindquist (West Islip, NY) who turned in a team-low round of 78. He was joined by Lance Holmes who fired an 87.

All the remaining Rams would shoot near 100 or better as Ernest Timmons shot a 99 and Spencer Harrell shot a 110 while William Monk tallied a 105 to combine with Lindquist and Holmes to turn in a team-total of 365 at the conclusion of the day's final round.

WSSU returns to action in the spring of 2006 as they resume golf action in CIAA league-sanctioned matches.
