Rams in Sixth Place After Opening Round of SSU Tiger Fall Invitational

SAVANNAH, GA - The Winston-Salem State Rams golf team continued their strong fall efforts with a sixth place finish on the opening day of the 2010 SSU Tiger Fall Invitational hosted by Savannah State University. The Rams finished the opening day with a 336 (+52) team score on the opening day of the event.

WSSU freshman Zachary Sheets led the way for the Rams with a 76 (+5) in the par 71 course and placing third in the overall individual standings. For the day, Sheets finished with 11 pars. Senior Devin Cherry placed 11th at the event with a 79 (+8) at the event.
