Winston-Salem, NC - Junior men's golfer Brett Lindquist (Junior/West Islip, NY) was named the Winston-Salem State University Men's Golf MVP on Wednesday April 28th, 2004 at the 2004 WSSU Athletic Awards Banquet that was held at the McNeil Ballroom of the Anderson Center.

Lindquist, the most dominant and consistent golfer on the WSSU team helped lead the Rams to a seventh place finish in the CIAA this past season as he proved to be a dominant force in the 2004 CIAA Golf Championships in Charlotte, NC as he fired a team-low 76 on the final day of competition.

For his efforts, he was named the WSSU Men's Golf MVP and was recognized at WSSU's Annual Athletic Awards Banquet.
