LUCIE, Fla. - Jerell Fields and Kenneth Lathan each fired a final-round 78 and Devin Cherry and Steven Mason chipped in with rounds in the 80's as the Winston-Salem State University men's golf team closed out the 23rd PGA Minority Collegiate Championships with an 11th-place finish to close out their 2008-09 season. PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The Winston-Salem State University men's golf team ended second round action from the 23rd PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship sitting in ninth place overall after carding a team total of 319 on Saturday. Led by Devin Cherry's team-low round of 75, the Rams find themselves ahead of Alabama A&M and arch-rival Hampton. Story.
