Rams Take 5-0 Loss to Shaw in 2012 CIAA Men's Tennis Championship Match
PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams couldn’t pull off the upset as the team took a hard-fought 5-0 loss to the Shaw Bears, Saturday afternoon in the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Tennis Championship match. The Rams gave it their all, but the team could not get past the top-seeded Bears.

Rams Tennis Tops VSU to Advance to 2012 CIAA Men's Tennis Finals
PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (15-11) tennis team had to battle past a great Virginia State team for a 5-3 win to reach the finals of the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament. WSSU sophomore Nick John clinched the win when he took a singles win to seal the victory.

PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (14-11) opened the 2012 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament on a high note with a 5-0 win over the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls, Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Rams advance to the semifinals of the tournament.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams gave it all they had, but the team could not stop the Shaw Bears in a 7-2 loss at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division Round-Up, Friday afternoon. The Rams fought hard for the entire match, but could not get the points they needed against the talented and experienced Shaw Bears.
