Rams Take Tough 6-1 Loss at North Carolina Central

DURHAM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (0-4) took a tough 6-1 loss to the NCAA Division I North Carolina Central University Eagles (2-5), Friday afternoon. The Rams gave a solid effort in the game, but could not pull out the win against the rival Eagles. 

The Rams opened the day falling in all three doubles matches to take the point loss. The team followed the effort with losses in five of the six singles matches. WSSU sophomore Jonathan Aubrey took the sole singles win for the Rams when he took a 7-5, 6-2 win at the #2 spot.
