February 28, 2014 Rams Take Tough 6-1 Loss at North Carolina Central DURHAM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (0-4) took a tough 6-1 loss to the NCAA Division I North Carolina Central University Eagles (2-5), Friday afternoon. The Rams gave a solid effort in the game, but could not pull out the win against the rival Eagles.
April 27, 2013 Rams Season Ends with 5-1 Loss to Charleston (W.Va.) at NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional CHARLESTON, WV – The Winston-Salem State Rams (13-10) gave it their all, but the team could not overcome the tough University of Charleston (W.Va.) Golden Eagles (19-5) with a 5-1 loss in the preliminary round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament. The Rams were able to notch a doubles win against the second seeded Golden Eagles, but the team could not pull out the victory in spite of a great effort.
April 23, 2013 Rams to Face Charleston (WV) to Open 2013 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Winston-Salem State Rams (13-8) will make their second trip to the NCAA postseason for the second time in three seasons when the team takes on the Charleston (WV) Golden Eagles (19-5) in the 2013 NCAA Division II Atlantic Region #2 Tournament. The Rams will take part in the tournament after winning their first Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) men’s tennis championship in school history.
April 20, 2013 Rams Claim 2013 CIAA Championship with 5-0 Win Over Chowan PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (18-11) finished their unlikely run winning the 2013 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men’s Tennis Championship with a 5-0 win over the Chowan Hawks. After entering the tournament as the lowest seed, the Rams took control early and finished their run to the championship with a dominant effort in the championship match.
