2008-09: Sat out the season to focus on Academics.

2007-08: Tran had a tough freshman season that saw him amass a 2-12 overall record as a singles player...He was 1-1 in the fourth singles spot and 1-11 at the fifth spot...He was 1-13 in doubles play, primarily teaming with fellow Ryan Lindquist in the first singles spot and totaling a 1-12 record...He also played one doubles match with former Ram Princeston Gilbert with an 0-1 record...He notched both his singles and doubles wins at Delaware State...He also added a singles win at North Carolina Wesleyan.

Personal:The 2009-10 season will mark Tran's second year as a member of the Rams' tennis team where he will likely occupy the fifth or sixth singles position...A native of Charlotte, N.C. he is a 2006 graduate of Garinger High School where he was named the Wildcats' team MVP as well as being named Garinger High School's Wrestling MVP...The son of Hoa Luu...A Nursing major at WSSU...Born in the Bronx, NY on Jan. 27, 1988...Nicknamed "Rocky."
