Final Stats

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Appalachian State University swept Winston-Salem State University by the score of 7-0 in men's tennis action at the WSSU Tennis Complex on Sunday afternoon as the Rams fell to 0-4 on the season.

The Mountaineers swept all three doubles matches on the day as they recorded an 8-2 victory at first doubles, an 8-1 victory at second doubles and an 8-0 victory at third doubles en route to securing the doubles point.

The Rams fared no better in singles play as Appalachian State swept all six singles matches as WSSU scored only five game victories over the course of six matches as the Mountaineers earned straight-set victories at first through sixth singles.

The loss drops the Rams to 0-4 on the season as Appalachian State improves to 2-1 overall with the win.

WSSU returns to action at 1:30 pm as they face the Panthers of High Point University.
