WSSU Men's Tennis
ROCKY MOUNT, NC - The Winston-Salem State University men's tennis team earned their first win of the 2007 season on Friday afternoon as they defeated the Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan 6-3 in non-conference tennis action.
The Rams earned four singles points as WSSU emerged victorious at first, second, fourth and fifth singles. WSSU narrowly held off splitting the singles matches when the Rams' Andrew Jones defeated NC Wesleyan's Mike Harrison in three-set tie-break thriller.

WSSU earned the victory by securing a point at first and second doubles as WSSU cruised to the 6-3 win.
The victory improves WSSU to 1-2 on the season while NC Wesleyan falls to 0-1 on the year. The Rams return to action on Saturday at 2:00 pm when they face
