Final Stats

BUIES CREEK, NC - The North Carolina Central University Eagles dropped only one match as they defeated the Rams of Winston-Salem State University at the Nesbitt Tennis Complex on the campus of Campbell University.

The lone bright spot for the Rams came at first singles when Princeston Gilbert defeated NCCU's Ashley Stout in straight sets by the score of 6-2, 6-2.

North Carolina Central won the remaining six matches in route to the 6-1 victory over the Rams.

The loss dropped the Rams to 1-6 overall while North Carolina Central improved to 1-1 with the win.

The Rams return to action on Sunday, March 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm when they face the Bulldogs of South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
