Final Stats

ORANGEBURG, SC - The South Carolina State University men's tennis team proved why they are regarded as one of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's best programs as they easily defeated the Rams of Winston-Salem State University by the score of 7-0 at the SCSU Tennis Complex.

The Rams were held without a point as they were swept in all six singles flights and all three doubles flights with the Bulldogs needing only 51 minutes to dispatch WSSU as the Rams were outgunned by the eight-time MEAC Champions.

The loss drops the Rams to 1-7 on the season as SCSU improves to 8-3 overall with the win.  WSSU returns to action on March 5, 2007 as they face another perennial MEAC tennis power when they square off against the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman College.
