The WSSU mens and womens tennis teams both fell in defeat on Friday afternoon to the Coppin State University Eagles in non-conference tennis action.
The WSSU women were swept 7-0 while the men turned in a much closer performance before falling in defeat 4-3.
The Rams and Lady Rams were scheduled to face the Bears of Morgan State in the second half of the doubleheader but the matchup was cancelled by the MSU Department of Athletics.
The cancelation of the scheduled match earns the Rams and Lady Rams a victory by forfeit. The win is the second of the season for each program.
WSSU returns to action on Saturay afternoon, weather permitting, to face the Bison of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
