Final Stats

NORFOLK, VA - Norfolk State University handed the Winston-Salem State University men's tennis team their 12^th loss of the 2007 season on Tuesday afternoon at the NSU Tennis Complex in Norfolk, Virginia as they swept all nine matches that were contested as the Rams fell to 1-12 on the season.

The Rams started the match by falling behind 1-0 early on as the Spartans secured the doubles point by sweeping the three doubles matches by the score of 8-0 as Norfolk State took a commanding lead.

With the loss, the Rams fall to 1-12 on the season while the Spartans improve to 8-2 overall and remain on top of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference standings.

WSSU returns to action on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 12:00 pm in Princess Anne, Maryland as they take on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.
