Durham, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Men's tennis team fell to 1-11 on the 2004 season on Sunday afternoon in Durham, NC as the Eagles of North Carolina Central University handed the Rams an 8-1 loss in CIAA men's tennis action where the Rams recorded a point at only first singles.
The Rams would score a single point in the contest as the Eagles cruised to victory with WSSU's Jayson Williams scoring the only point for the Rams as he won 8-6 at first singles. No other Ram would even come close to victory as they failed to score more than a single game point in the contest.
The Rams and Eagles will return to action on April 1st, 2004 in Winston-Salem, NC at the WSSU Tennis Complex when they square off with the Rams looking for retribution. The first serve is slated for 2:00 pm.
