Winston-Salem, NC - The Virginia State University Trojans easily defeated the Rams tennis team at the WSSU Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon in Winston-Salem, NC as WSSU would record only two points in the match before falling 7-2 in the first of a pair of matches.
Virginia State recorded wins at seven of the nine flights in the match as WSSU fell to 2-4 overall in 2005.
WSSU returns to action for the second match in 30 minutes and will play again on Friday, April 1st, 2005 in Winston-Salem, NC at 1:00 PM as they play host to Shaw University in a CIAA women's tennis league contest.
