Winston-Salem, NC - The Shaw University Bears tennis team defeated the Rams at the WSSU Tennis Complex in the first of a pair of tennis matches on Friday afternoon in Winston-Salem, NC as WSSU would not record a single point in the match before falling 9-0.
Not only would the Bears win every match at all nine flights, they would fail to give up a single point to the host-team Rams as they won every eight-game pro-set match by the score 8-0.
WSSU returns to action again on Saturday, April 1st, 2005 in Winston-Salem, NC at 1:00 PM as they play host to Virginia Union University in a CIAA women's tennis league contest.
