Winston-Salem, NC - The Winston-Salem State University men's tennis team cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Falcons of Saint Augustine's College on Saturday afternoon at the WSSU Tennis Complex by the score of 7-1 as WSSU improved to 6-8 on the season in 2005.
The Falcons would win only one flight in the match as they secured a win at the first singles flight as Joey Pennerman defeated WSSU's Daniel Gary by the score of 8-6.
WSSU posted wins at every other flight as the Rams easily won the match. WSSU won all three doubles matches and won the final four singles matches en route to their seven total points.
The two teams will return to action at 2:00 PM as they close out the 2005 CIAA tennis regular season.
