Schedule conflict results in the cancellation of tennis matches

April 2, 2007

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University tennis matches scheduled for Monday, April 2, 2007 versus Shaw University at the WSSU Tennis Complex have been cancelled as confirmed by WSSU head tennis coach Charlie Schoderbek.

                              

The non-conference tennis matches were cancelled due to a conflict with Shaw University's tennis schedule.  No make up date has been announced and in a statement issued by Schoderbek the WSSU head coach expressed his doubt as to whether the matches would be rescheduled for a later date.

 

The WSSU tennis teams will return to action on April 14, 2007 in Tallahassee, Florida as they face the Rattlers of Florida A&M University.
