GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University men's tennis team dropped their season opener on Sunday afternoon as they fell in defeat to the Spartans of UNC-Greensboro by the score of 7-0 to fall to 0-1 on the season. Story.

Weather Forces Tennis Cancellation For WSSU Men's and Women's Tennis

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Heavy snowfall over the central and western part of North Carolina and a weather forecast that calls for upwards of a foot of accumulation has forced the start of the Winston-Salem State University men's and women's tennis seasons to be postponed. The Rams' matches at Presbyterian on Jan. 31 and versus Gardner-Webb on Feb. 1 and the Lady Rams' match at Presbyterian on Jan. 31 have been postponed as announced by WSSU head tennis coach Charlie Schoderbek late Friday afternoon. WSSU Men's Tennis Challenged At ITA Tournament At UNC-Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Winston-Salem State University men's tennis team was faced with stiff competition on Friday evening at the ITA Singles and Doubles Tournament hosted by UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University as the Rams posted an 0-3 record on the first day of competition. Story.
