Personal: The 2006-07 season marks Jeffries' second year as a member of the WSSU men's track and field team where he will compete in the decathlon, the long jump, and the triple jump. A native of Rocky Mount, NC, he is a 2003 graduate of Rocky Mount High School where he was an Honorable Mention All-Area selection in both his junior and senior seasons. In addition to running track he was also a four-year member of the Gryphons' football team where he helped to lead Rocky Mount to several state playoff appearances. The son of Louise Jeffreys, he is a Chemistry major at WSSU who was born in Washington, DC on January 2, 1985.
